MISBEHAVIOUR

It is expected that in most cases concerning discipline a telling off will act as a reminder. However bad behavior is not tolerated at Redroofs. Pupils may be removed from a lesson for behavior which is seen to undermine the teaching staff , to distract other pupils or to interfere with the natural development of the lesson.

MISBEHAVIOUR IN CLASS
Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in the pupil being removed from a class situation in order that the class can continue undisrupted. The pupil(s) may be required to explain themselves to a Senior Staff Member. The matter will be dealt with on an individual basis and may be recorded. Parents will be informed where pupils are continually misbehaving and appropriate action will be taken the aim of which will always be to redress poor behavior. Whilst the school may punish the pupil with a detention we aim at all times to punish appropriately and will avoid inconveniencing parents at all times.

BULLYING.
The school anti-bullying policy is displayed on the school website.

INFRINGEMENT OF SCHOOL RULES.
The breaking of school rules may result in loss of privileges, missed vocational classes , a reprimand or confiscation.

CONTROLLED DRUGS OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES.
Any pupil reported to be in possession of or using any controlled drug or illegal substance will be permanently excluded. Possession of or use of cigarettes and alcohol by Day School pupils is strictly forbidden and may result in suspension or expulsion.
