Redroofs Theatre School

Redroofs is not a feeder to any one college or dance school but has a strong history of leavers achieving places at their first choice colleges, some going on to become prize winning students.

These places often carry significant scholarships for which many, with their passion for and prior track record in the arts and particularly Dance, are ready. Some have been fortunate to receive DADA awards based on excellence alone.

As we are now offering 6th form training it is less likely that our pupils will be looking at alternative sixth forms, but may choose dance college.

Our dancers are guided towards their applications for Laines, Millenium, Stella Mann, Urdang Academy, etc and often receive substantial scholarship offers.

Significant numbers of leavers have found their way to universities and Drama Schools including GSA, Mountview, LIPA etc to name but a few.

Day school leavers looking to train in other careers at 16+ have been offered places at Peter Jones Academy, BCA, Hurtwood House, Frensham Heights, Henley College, Wycombe and Amersham College, various local independent school sixth forms for A levels and BTecs leading towards allied careers in fields such as Beauty, Hairdressing, Set Construction, Scenic Design and much more.
