HALF TERM WORKSHOPS - Mayfair, London | Booking form

Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May 2019

Venue: Danceworks, 16 Balderton Street, Mayfair, London, W1K 6TN (opposite Selfridges clock)
Time: 10-3pm daily

A two day workshop for girls and boys age 8-13 plus years who love musical theatre.

It's a Redroofs takeover of Studio 1 at Danceworks, Balderton Street, Mayfair, London. So while parents shop in Selfridges or treat themselves to a fabulous lunch, your young performers will be working with the inspirational Ben Mundy & Sarah-Lou Jones.

We are honoured to have Ben with us. He was most recently Assistant Dance Captain for 'Annie' in the West End at the Piccadilly Theatre. Other credits include: CATS (West End & UK and International Tour), The Olivier Awards and Grease the Musical (Dubai). He has worked in concert with Kerry Ellis.

Ben is a regular visiting professional at Redroofs.

We are so lucky too to have secured Sarah-Lou to the workshop sessions in May. For those of you who saw Shrek the Musical (UK & Ireland Tour), Sarah played Red Riding Hood. She is a fabulous dance captain and has herself danced in 42nd Street at the London Palladium.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask lots of questions about how to land a part in a West End show, what life is like as a young performer and how to achieve your ambitions.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience from keen novice to experienced young performers with or without a dance background.

The regular Redroofs Team will be at the 2 day workshop and will be there on hand to meet parents who would like to sign their children up to the Agency.

Redroofs pupils have been most recently starring in West End Shows such as Matilda, Mary Poppins, Annie, School of Rock, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Nativity! and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, while more pupils are notching up TV & Film credits including The Kid Who Would Be King, Tolkien, Almost Never (CBBC), Picasso, Music, War and Love and many more.

The emphasis as always is on a happy and motivating performing arts experience for children of all abilities with plenty to stretch the more able performer.

There will be a chance to watch an informal presentation at the end of each of the two days.

Redroofs School for the Performing Arts who have over the years helped to secure life changing careers for hundreds of children in West End shows are delighted to share their expertise to you.
