Novello Theatre - our very own theatre! Our own 160 seater proscenium arched theatre, with red velvet seats, decorated in the style of a Pollocks Toy Theatre. A unique and fully equipped theatre, with a full lighting rig, orchestra pit and trap doors - We are unique amongst theatre schools in having such a traditional and magical place to perform!
Full time pupils are involved with annual Musical performances (usually running over 5-6 performances) and we use the facility for the annual day school assessments (This is additional to other performance opportunities).
We also allow pupils from time to time to showcase their own work and many have mounted their own shows raising money for charities of their choice.
Part time classes use the space for showing end of term performances for family and friends. The 160 seater proscenium arch theatre, complete with trap doors and full lighting rig, provides a perfect training ground for young people of all ages and its friendly atmosphere makes this an excellent venue for building confidence in our young performers.
